For modern times era, the protagonist is Yugi Mutou. It is later revealed that Heishin seeks to usher the return of Nitemare, an ancient evil wizard. After the high priest Heishin overthrows Pharaoh, he sets out to free Egypt from Heishen’s rule. Throughout most of the game, the protagonist is Atem, the Prince of Ancient Egypt.
The Game takes place in Ancient Egypt and in modern times.Known in Japan as Yu-Gi-Oh! True Duel Monsters: Sealed Memories.
